We just signed up with the agency this week. I must admit that I am so nervous and sometimes feel like I cannot do this again. We attempted the Tawian independent adoption but that feel through :broken: so we decided that domestic might be better for us at this point.

Ok. I had trouble with my log in but Camille helped me fix it.

Yes, we are STILL waiting. It has been two years with 3 maybes and no realities. We love our agency but it is small and not very well known, so she mostly gets calls by referral which have not been many this year. I knew we might have a long wait because of this but that doesn't make it any easier when Natalie asks WHEN is she going to be a big sister. Plus she starts kindergarten in the fall and I always had it in my head that I would be occupied with another child by then to distract me from the fact that my first baby is going to school already.

We are considering doing foster care in the mean time (whether it leads to adoption or not) as long as we can continue to keep our infant profile open too. Of course, it would help if the agency I called with questions and for information would call me back....

Hi Erin - Good to "see" you. I am sorry to learn your wait has been so long. As you know, BT and I know all about waiting! ;) I know it's hard, so hard.. but the reality is GOD has a PLAN for your family. It's so hard to let go and let God - with that I struggled. Keep looking up, praying for His direction and you'll be blessed. We're all here to support you! Pep
